Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse in Bristol, CT. The role involves providing and documenting patient care, triaging according to protocols, and coordinating with the care team in a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualified candidates hold an active CT RN license, have at least 1 year of nursing experience, and are proficient with Microsoft Office. Preference for BSN and CPR/BLS certification; Epic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in CT.
• 1+ years of nursing experience.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document patient care such as injections and preventive screenings.
• Triage patients according to approved protocols and scheduling guidelines.
• Prepare patients and collect clinical information for the care team.
• Educate patients about their illness or injury and self-management.
• Order tests and authorize prescription refills per clinic policy.
• Document all patient interactions in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Communicate test results and follow up after appointments.
