Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, seeks a dedicated registered nurse in Bristol, CT. You will support the care team with patient care, education, and coordination across services, documenting in the EHR and ensuring timely communication with providers.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule at clinic hours, with one Saturday per month. You will work within Family Medicine, contributing to patient-centered care and safe, efficient practice operations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in CT.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care such as injections and preventive screenings.
• Triage patients according to protocols and scheduling guidelines.
• Prepare patients and collect clinical information for visits.
• Educate patients about illnesses and self-management.
• Administer standing orders and coordinate tests per policy.
• Document interactions accurately in the EHR.
• Coordinate outreach and follow-up after appointments.
