Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by state where services are provided or due within three (3) months of hire.
• WV Nurse's Aide Certification through the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts per Policy/Procedures.
• Measure and record temperatures, pulse and respirations.
• Provide care based on age-specific standards for adult-geriatric patients.
• Assist with ADLs, grooming, bath, nail care, and shaving as directed.
• Turn and position bedfast patients every 2 hours and assist with bowel/bladder functions.
• Assist with feeding and nutrition, record intake, report changes promptly.
