Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. seeks qualified respiratory care professionals to educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen and related equipment. Responsibilities include patient assessments and communicating findings to the physician.

Applicants should be able to work evenings/weekends and travel to rural areas as needed; PRN/set-up payment models may be used depending on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credentials as a respiratory therapist (RRT/CRT) preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable depending on state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the primary state of home office and provide license copy.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy and home oxygen.
• Perform in-home visits and patient assessments per physician orders.
• Set up and monitor high- tech respiratory equipment and monitor function.
• Maintain documentation and participate in on-call duties as required.
