Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Bradford, MA group homes. Roles include Residential Skills Instructor or Awake Overnight, supporting 4 adults with daily living activities, ADLs, documentation, and medication assistance.

Positions are non-exempt, with part-time and full-time options. Schedule details include weekends and evenings. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement plan, and paid time off. Union membership is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MAP Certification; Waystone provides training within 6 months.
• CPR/First Aid; Waystone provides training within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Experience in training, case management and service delivery to adults with IDD.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities including hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, transferring, and meal preparation.
• Able to assist with heavy lifting and driving wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Transport individuals to appointments, community events, or recreational activities.
• Complete ISP and daily logs, track behavioral data.
• Assist with medication administration and maintain documentation.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirecting behaviors.
