Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification within 120 calendar days as Residential Care Specialist I or Personal Support Specialist.
• State registry placement within 120 calendar days.
• Current BLS certification or within 90 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or physician’s office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the RN in charge.

Education

Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS-I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certification
