Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide for its long-term care facilities. You will administer medications under licensed supervision, support residents’ daily needs, and work with a care team to uphold high standards of safety and quality.

Requires a high school diploma and a state-approved 40-hour medication administration certificate, with preference for prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certificate required or may be trained within 4 months.
• State approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification required.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under direction of a licensed nurse.
• Performs routine tasks to maintain residents' health, comfort and well-being.
• Interact with residents, families, medical staff and facility team members.
• Provide resident care when not assigned as a CRMA per facility policy.
