Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc is seeking a Residential Aide to assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports a safe environment on the unit and helps maintain quality patient care.

Requirements include a certification within 120 days, state registry placement within 120 days, and a current or soon-to-be BLS certification, with six months of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Placed on state registry within 120 calendar days.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS-I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certification required within 120 days.
• Minimum six months of experience in acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or physician’s office preferred.

Overview

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS -I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certification required within 120 calendar days.
• 2. Placed on state registry within 120 calendar days.
• 3. Current BLS or within 90 days of hire and maintain current.
• 4. Possess knowledge of Medical Terminology
• 5. Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or physician’s office, preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.00 to $21.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
