Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc is seeking a Residential Aide to assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports a safe environment on the unit and helps maintain quality patient care.

Requirements include a certification within 120 days, state registry placement within 120 days, and a current or soon-to-be BLS certification, with six months of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Placed on state registry within 120 calendar days.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS-I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certification required within 120 days.
• Minimum six months of experience in acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and support team within unit.
