Newberry Estates Senior Living is seeking a Server and Dietary Aid to support meal service and resident dining experiences. You will assist with meal preparation, ensure accurate portions and presentation, and provide courteous service to residents, guests, and staff.

The role emphasizes adherence to dietary needs, proper lifting, and teamwork in a community-focused setting. This position is on-site with health and wellness benefits included.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare, serve, and handle food safely and efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Food Service & Resident Experience: assist with meal preparation and service.
• Serve meals promptly with correct portions and presentation standards.
• Provide respectful, personalized service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Ensure special diets, allergies, and texture modifications are followed.
• Monitor resident satisfaction during mealtimes and report concerns to Dining Services Manager.
• Accurately record meals daily to support cost tracking.
• Assist residents with meal selections and preferences.
• Maintain dining room, kitchen, and service areas per cleanliness standards.
