Parkview Senior Living in Reinbeck, IA is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide personal care and daily living support with empathy and compassion. You will collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe resident care and effective communication across shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility; medication management after certification; and accurate documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old to obtain Medication Manager certification (we will help you get certified).
• Strong ability to engage with residents, families, and teammates with empathy and tact.
• Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality care and service to others.
• Prior direct care experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal, hands‑on resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and daily living activities.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, and meal support.
• After certification, prepare and administer medications under nurse supervision.
• Accurately chart resident interactions and communicate with the team for continuity of care.
• Uphold residents' rights and dignity in all interactions.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet residents' needs promptly and compassionately.
