Job summary

Parkview Senior Living is actively seeking a Resident Assistant to provide personalized, compassionate care for residents in Reinbeck, Iowa. You will support daily living activities and assist with meals, mobility, bathing, dressing, and mobility while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

You will work closely with nurses and teammates, with responsibilities including medication support after certification and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and tact when interacting with residents and families.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and teammates.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, hands-on care including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and daily living activities.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, and meal support to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable day.
• Assist with medication management after certification under nurse supervision.
• Accurately chart resident interactions and communicate with the team to ensure continuity of care.
• Uphold residents' rights and dignity in all interactions.
• Work collaboratively with team to meet residents' needs promptly and compassionately.
