Valhalla Post Acute in Louisville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans and under supervision. You will assist with meals, personal care, mobility, and ensuring resident comfort while maintaining a warm and respectful unit environment.

This role emphasizes meticulous documentation, timely communication of changes to the nursing leadership, and strict confidentiality of resident information.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant as per state laws.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and coworkers.

Responsabilités

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans.
• Identify residents before treatments and during care activities.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Follow facility policies on blood/body fluids exposure and safety procedures.
• Assist with daily activities including feeding, grooming, mobility, and transfers as needed.
