Job summary

Valley-View-Post-Acute is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per care plans. You will identify residents, assist with activities of daily living, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding strict privacy standards.

You will report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, ensure room readiness, and participate in shift handovers, promoting a warm, safe, and respectful care environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant as per state laws.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures and policies.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plans.
• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands/photo IDs.
• Report changes in condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain resident room readiness and comfort; greet and escort residents.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and infection control.
• Participate in nursing shifts, attend handovers, and support team members.
