Job summary

Westerville Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in a facility setting. You will identify residents before procedures, maintain accurate records, and report changes in condition to the nursing leadership.

You’ll assist with mobility, daily activities, and meals to support resident well-being. The role requires a valid CNA license, the ability to read and follow procedures, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret basic procedures.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to care plans.
• Identify residents using wristband/photo card before procedures.
• Record entries accurately in charts and flow sheets.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report suspected violations.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities as directed.
• Assist with meals, bathing, dressing, and personal care tasks.
• Monitor resident well-being and respond to calls promptly.
• Prepare residents for examinations and treatments as instructed.
