Job summary

PACS in California seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents in accordance with care plans and supervision. The role involves identifying residents, recording clinical data, ensuring a safe environment, and assisting with activities of daily living.

CPR certification is preferred, and a 10th grade education is required. You will work under Nurse Supervisors, maintain confidentiality, and participate in shift handovers and nursing

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report all changes in a resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in a descriptive manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report suspected incidents.
• Follow established policies regarding exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, meals, and personal care as trained.
• Prepare resident rooms and assist with transfers, admissions, and discharges.
