Job summary

Prestige Senior Living in Beaverton, OR is seeking staff to provide direct resident care and support as a universal worker. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents’ health, and help maintain a positive physical and psychosocial environment while upholding the company’s values of respect, integrity, commitment and trust.

Required First Aid and CPR certification; a competency evaluation must be completed within 120 days of employment and state training requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must complete competency evaluation within 120 days of employment and state required training.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident care while promoting dignity, independence and choice; observes residents’ physical and mental conditions and reports changes to supervisors.
• Assists with or performs ADLs; takes vital signs and documents care provided and observations.
• Assists residents to dining room and activities; serves meals and assists with dining room and kitchen tasks.
• Greets residents, visitors and staff; answers phones when assigned.
• Follows fire safety and infection control practices and reports unsafe conditions.
