Job summary

Prestige Senior Living in Medford, Oregon is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide direct resident care as part of a universal worker role. You will support residents with daily activities, monitor health, and assist with dining, mobility, and personal care while upholding our values of respect and integrity.

Responsibilities include documenting care, participating in training, and coordinating with health staff to ensure safety, comfort, and a positive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year of personal care with older adults preferred.
• Must pass competency evaluation within 120 days of employment.
• State-required training: Revised Fundamentals of Care, Dementia Care, First Aid, CPR, HIV.
• Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• First Aid and CPR certification; Food Handler permit if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice.
• Observe residents' physical and mental changes and report to supervisor.
• Assist residents with ADLs, meals, and mobility needs.
• Follow safety and infection-control practices; report unsafe conditions.
• Attend trainings, in-services, and staff meetings; participate in team activities.
