Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification required.
• Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, to ensure resident care.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks, communicating changes to the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Make routine care rounds to meet needs per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using proper body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities per policy and standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to supervision.
