Lutheran Senior Services, based in Peoria, IL, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive care to residents under nursing leadership. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring residents’ comfort and dignity while assisting with daily living activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accurate reporting, and participation in care plans to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in MO/IL; PA enrollment eligibility within 120 days of training completion

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ comfort and assist with activities of daily living
• Respond to call lights and requests; report observations to nurse
• Assist with personal care; promote resident dignity and independence
• Observe residents for changes and communicate to nurse
• Participate in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives
• Assist with mealtimes; provide full assistance as needed
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion
• Support resident involvement in daily activities and decisions
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff
• Document care provided in clinical records
• Maintain clean, safe environment
