Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care to residents in a supervised setting. The role ensures adherence to federal, state, and local standards and facility policies while delivering compassionate care.

You will support residents with activities of daily living, participate in care planning, and report changes to the nursing staff to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when needed.
• Must be personable, enthusiastic, and trustworthy.
• 16 years of age or older and of temperate habits.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or nursing assistant competency evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care to residents per standards and policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living as directed by nursing staff.
• Participate in care planning and resident councils when invited.
• Report concerns to the Administrator or supervising nurse.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and equipment.
• Record intake/output and monitor resident status per guidelines.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and basic care tasks as needed.
