Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in New York is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with respect and dignity. You will be a familiar face helping residents make the most of each day, emphasizing safety and wellbeing as part of our hospitality with a higher purpose.

Full-time shifts include one weekend per week (Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs). Previous experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus; English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Experience with geriatric population preferred, including dementia care.
• Must speak and read English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Support residents in physical, emotional, and psycho-social wellbeing.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort.
• Follow Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness instructions.
