Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Armonk, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on, respectful care to our residents. This part-time role offers morning shifts and weekend coverage to support daily living activities while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will assist with ADLs, escort residents to meals and activities, and help promote physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being under supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's or dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Basic understanding of dementia; patient and professional in redirecting residents.
• Reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor; respectful of the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Follow policies and procedures and heed the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
