Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in New York is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to support residents daily with ADLs and personal care. You will be a friendly, respectful presence, helping residents feel safe and valued in a warm, dignified environment.

Qualified candidates are CNAs or CHHAs, with English fluency. Alzheimer's/dementia experience is a plus. Reliability, patience and a gentle touch are essential in this role, within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.
Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
Must speak/read English.
Geriatric care experience preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
Patience and professionalism in interacting with residents.
Reliable, caring and gentle demeanor.
Respect for the elderly and ability to stay calm.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Escorting residents to meals and activities.
Support residents in achieving physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
Follow policies and procedures and directions from supervisors.
