Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Savannah, GA is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living.

The role includes reporting incidents, assisting with daily tasks, housekeeping, responding to calls, and supporting dining and activities. A high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program are required; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness within 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Contribute to nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals (e.g., HCD, RN/LPN, or ED).
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties as directed.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follows confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
