Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate Resident Assistants to support residents with activities of daily living and collaborate with a caring team. The role emphasizes person-centered care and working under the nurse in charge to ensure safety and comfort.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with pay starting from $15.00 per hour, based on experience. Benefits span health, retirement, PTO, tuition assistance, and DailyPay access.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, dressing) with care and sensitivity.
• Provide supervision and support for transfers and ambulation as needed per resident.
• Communicate and coordinate with residents’ needs and team.
• Work under the nurse in charge and respond to emergency calls.
• Assist residents with various daily needs as necessary.
• Experience in dementia or memory care setting.
