Job summary

Springfield Skilled Care Center is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to manage calls, greet visitors, handle mail, and perform light data entry. The role emphasizes accurate communication, neat appearance, and a positive attitude to support a compassionate senior-care environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Office Management and Bookkeeping preferred.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Typing at least 50 WPM.
• Operate multi-line telephone system and paging system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Neat in appearance and well-groomed.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and stellar customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls, taking messages as necessary.
• Greet and direct visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Send and receive/route incoming faxes.
• Responsible for outgoing mail and sorting/routing incoming mail.
• Maintain fax and postage machines.
• Data entry as assigned.
• Miscellaneous filing.
• Covid Testing and Covid Testing Logs.
