Waldron-Rehabilitation-and-Healthcare-Center is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide resident care under the direction of nursing and medical staff. The role includes administering medications per orders, recording vitals, and supporting non-licensed tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a QMA and CNA certificate, with about one year in a long-term care setting, and demonstrates professionalism and strong communication with residents and coworkers.

Qualificações

• QMA certification in good standing is required.
• CNA certification is required and must be current.
• One year of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic patient measurements and non-licensed tasks as directed.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains and records residents' vital signs and weight.
• Administers medications exactly as prescribed and documents administration.
• Participates in in-service programs and adheres to policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Performs non-licensed tasks (hot/cold applications, vital signs, weights) per procedure manual.
• Observes and reports any adverse medication effects.
• Provides direct resident care and may function as a CNA when not administering meds.
• Maintains courteous, professional relationships with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
