Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services seeks a skilled Physical Therapist for a full-time position in Maplewood, MN. You will evaluate patients, create individualized plans, and work with a diverse patient population to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Responsibilities include implementing treatments, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, collaborating with health professionals, and maintaining records. A license and SNF experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a SNF or similar environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength and flexibility.
• Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment, to help patients achieve their treatment goals.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate with insurance companies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of physical therapy.
