Job summary

Methodist Senior Services in Dugan, MS is seeking a passionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, individualized treatments that improve mobility, strength and independence.

Minimum qualifications include PTA program graduation, MS license eligibility, and at least one year of rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year rehabilitation experience in a setting serving geriatric patients.
• Prefer active membership in the state and national American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current license or eligibility for license in Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provide high-quality, individualized PTA treatments.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient mobility, strength and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in program planning for patient care.
