Job summary

Methodist Senior Services in West Point, MS is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis at our Skilled Nursing Facility. You will provide skilled PT as directed by a Physical Therapist and collaborate with the care team to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license or eligible for license in Mississippi.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adequate computer skills for required documentation.
• Ability to understand and follow the directions of the Physical Therapist and the policies of Methodist Senior Services.

Responsibilities

• Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Accurately documenting treatments and resident progress.
• Collaborating with therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
• Promoting a positive and encouraging therapy experience for residents.
