Foothills Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Maryville, TN is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The PTA will conduct screenings, develop care plans, and deliver rehabilitative treatments in a post-acute setting consistent with regulatory standards.

Requirements include an active Physical Therapist Assistant license. Open to PTAs at all experience levels; new grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care and develop care plans adhering to standards.
Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
Perform regular standing/walking and assist with transfers and repositioning of patients and equipment.
Administer procedures part of rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services, ensuring regulatory compliance.
