Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist at Rappahannock General Hospital to evaluate patients and provide skilled therapy across outpatient and inpatient settings. The role includes developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating care within a patient-centered team.

The therapist will deliver daily therapy, supervise assistants where applicable, maintain records in the EMR, and uphold department standards while ensuring productivity and quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or eligible for traineeship/temporary license in state of practice.
• 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.
• BLS certification (required within 30 days for RSFH or upon hire for other sites).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathers information, and develops treatment plans with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following plan of care and standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records and progress notes in the EMR; co-signs for supervised assistants if applicable.
• Supervises PT assistants and maintains productivity without compromising quality.
