Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations. You will provide direct patient care, document findings, and guide students and staff as needed while collaborating with physicians and insurance providers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Physical Therapy, an active Texas license or PT Compact eligibility, and Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or via PT Compact; Basic Life Support.
• Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Ability to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and guide staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Implements PT treatments and oversees care provided by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Communicates with patients, caregivers and professionals; documents findings and progress.
