Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: PT degree from an accredited program.
• Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in TX.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and develops goals and a comprehensive plan of care.
• Implements physical therapy treatment and demonstrates competency in basic PT skills.
• Monitors progress, adjusts goals and plan as needed; motivates patient and caregiver.
• Communicates with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Documents in the medical record and completes required documentation.
• Presents topics in professional forums and meetings as delegated.
• Ensures safe care and adheres to policies, procedures, and standards.
• Supports professional growth and department goals; assists with education and training.
