Job summary

Luminis Health is looking for a skilled laboratory technician to perform specimen collection from patients. Successful candidates will interact with patients while ensuring high-quality specimens for testing.

The position requires a high school diploma and specialized training in phlebotomy, as well as certifications in phlebotomy and CPR. The pay range is competitive, between $18 and $24 USD, along with various benefits including medical insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in an outpatient or acute care facility preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification with the National Phlebotomy Association or American Society of Clinical Pathology preferred.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory specimen collection from patients for diagnostic purposes.
• Determine and execute best methods for obtaining biological specimens.
• Maintain laboratory supply inventory.
