Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred by employer

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures with attention to patient comfort across age groups
• Manages specimen collection using the Lab Information System and adheres to lab standards
• Ensures patient safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times
• Trains staff and participates in continuous improvement initiatives as needed
• Distributes results via appropriate channels (fax, phone, or delivery) as requested
