• Prepares, packages, and transports specimens to the laboratory.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides reassurance.
• Cleans, sterilizes, and maintains phlebotomy equipment and workspace.
• Documents patient and specimen information in the laboratory system.
• Collects timed specimens as ordered and prioritizes tasks.
• Identifies and resolves specimen issues and recollects samples if needed.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to resolve orders and communicate status.
• Adheres to safety and regulatory standards.
