Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Case Manager to join our team in a fast-paced, on-site role in Washington, DC. You will support attorneys by organizing caseloads, drafting documents, and coordinating with clients and providers to advance settlements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to multitask across multiple deadlines while maintaining strong written and verbal communication. This role emphasizes teamwork and meticulous case management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a legal role or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; typing 35 wpm+.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with existing and potential clients, via telephone and in person.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients/providers during treatment.
• Obtain documents to support injury and/or liability positions.
• Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
• Work with coworkers to manage case files and maintain organized records.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and submit to carriers under attorney supervision.
• Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis as required.
• Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction.
