Job summary

Caremate Wellness Solutions, LLC is seeking compassionate home-care professionals to provide non-medical in-home support in DeSoto, TX. You will assist with ADLs, follow a care plan, and monitor safety while maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment.

The role emphasizes patient, respectful care for elderly or disabled clients, with training provided as needed and opportunities for advancement. Reliable transportation and references required.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience.
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented.
• Need good interpersonal skills, must be service-oriented, possess good bedside manner.
• Must have patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals.
• Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, or be willing to participate in training to provide service.
• Skilled in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Supports clients by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal prep and mobility monitoring.
• Provide direct personal care of a non-medical nature, following an approved plan of care.
• Perform safety and wellness observations each shift and communicate changes to the agency.
• Maintain a safe work and living environment by reducing hazards and adhering to safety procedures.
• Assist family members or primary caregivers by teaching safe transfer and repositioning methods.
• Participate in agency-required training and education opportunities to update knowledge.
• Help enhance agency reputation by proactively exploring opportunities to add value to services offered.
