Job summary

Caremate Wellness Solutions in Fort Worth, TX seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical personal care in clients' homes, following a care plan. You will assist with ADLs, monitor safety, and support families with transfers while maintaining a safe environment.

Starting pay is $13.02/hour with a semi-monthly pay schedule, flexible shifts, health options, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of direct caregiving experience required.
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals.
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's or willingness to train.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports clients by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal prep, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Provides direct non-medical personal care following an approved plan of care.
• Performs safety and wellness observations each shift and reports changes to the agency.
• Maintains a safe living/work environment and adheres to safety procedures.
• Helps family members or primary caregivers with safe transfers and positioning training.
• Completes required training and participates in ongoing education opportunities.
• Contributes to service quality by accepting opportunities to add value to offered services.
