Job summary

ComForCare Triad Home Care is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate in-home support in Greensboro, NC. You will help with daily activities, monitor health, assist with medications per care plans, and keep patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and personal transportation required.
• Minimum of one year experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice and related needs preferred.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge to protect patient confidentiality.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate mobility aids.
• Strong communication with clients and families.
• Basic personal care skills (bathing, dressing) and mobility support.
• Compassionate attitude with a passion for caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Monitor health and report changes to family and supervising nurse.
• Support medication reminders following care plans and privacy rules.
• Prepare or warm nutritious meals and assist with eating.
• Operate mobility devices and help transfers safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment with light housekeeping.
• Document patient progress and communicate with supervisory staff.
