Job summary

Victorian Senior Care is seeking a compassionate aide to assist residents in an Assisted Living setting. You will help with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, following each resident's care plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with transportation, participating in activities, and maintaining resident safety and dignity. A CNA or 80-hour Personal Care Aide certificate is required within 6 months, with strong communication skills and physical endurance

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain C.N.A or Personal Care Aide Certificate (80-Hour) within 6-Months of hire.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to Lift, Push, Pull and Carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living according to Care Plan (toileting, ambulation, eating, transferring, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene).
• Assure residents are dressed appropriately in living areas or outside the building.
• Assist residents to maximize independence and mobility.
• Respond to hand bells and signaling calls promptly.
• Assist residents with transportation when indicated by ED/Administrator.
• Support Activities Coordinator in carrying out planned activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of residents’ clothing and rooms.
• Assist with bed making and use of resident equipment as needed.
• Maintain documentation as required in resident services.
