Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to provide essential in-home care, supporting clients with daily living and personal care while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort. You will work one-on-one with clients and families, performing ADLs, health advocacy, meal assistance, light housekeeping, transportation, safe transfers, and accurate documentation to support quality care.

Requirements include background in home care, dementia/related knowledge a plus, HIPAA privacy

Qualifications

• Background in home care, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• HIPAA and patient privacy understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe changes in client condition and report them.
• Prepare meals per dietary needs and assist feeding.
• Manage light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Assist transfers and repositioning for safety.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
