Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to provide hands-on support for clients in their own homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity. You will work one-on-one with clients and their families as part of the daily care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, basic health advocacy, meal preparation, light housekeeping, safe transportation to appointments, and maintaining accurate care documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or Autism/IDD is a plus.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required before start date.
• HIPAA and patient privacy knowledge essential.
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in client condition and wellness.
• Prepare meals per dietary requirements and assist feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide safe transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Assist with transfers and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient care notes and documentation.
