Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to provide hands-on support for clients in their own homes. You will work one-on-one with clients to ensure safety, comfort, and dignity, assisting with daily living tasks and documenting care activities.

Responsibilities include ADL support, health advocacy, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and safe transfers. Certification in CPR/First Aid and HIPAA awareness are required; prior home care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in home care, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Solid understanding of patient privacy (HIPAA).
• Ability to assist with transfers and physical tasks.
• Strong interpersonal communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility (ADLs).
• Health Advocacy: observe and report changes in client condition or wellness.
• Nutritional Care: prepare meals per dietary requirements and assist feeding when needed.
• Home Environment: manage light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Transportation: ensure safe transit to medical appointments and errands.
• Safe Handling: perform transfers and repositioning for client safety.
• Clear Documentation: maintain accurate records of care activities.
