Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Newnan, GA is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver to support seniors at home with daily activities, mobility, and companionship. This role emphasizes safety, empathy, and personalized care in a home setting.

You’ll work with clients one-on-one, assist with daily living tasks, and participate in activities that enhance well-being. The company offers sign-on bonus and flexible scheduling with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification).
• One year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
