Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Augusta is seeking a Personal Care Aide/CNA/Caregiver to provide in-home personal care for seniors in Peachtree City. Earn $17.00/hr with a $200–$500 sign-on bonus and benefit from 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, and online CEUs.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, and maintaining a safe home environment. GA PCA certification and CPR/First Aid are required or can be obtained with company support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR/First Aid certification and current TB screening
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
