Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health seeks a compassionate Peer Support Specialist in Hamilton, OH. You will use lived experience to support clients navigating behavioral health services and connect families with resources.

Collaborating with a clinical team, you’ll advocate for clients, build community ties, and maintain confidentiality while documenting interactions in the EHR system. Evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with behavioral health challenges or mental health diagnosis.
• Strong communication, active listening, relationship-building and engagement skills.
• Ability to build trust with clients and families; works in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel to different locations; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and family engagement to clients receiving services.
• Help clients identify goals and navigate behavioral health services and systems of care.
• Advocate for clients and families; support access to community resources.
