Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Paris, TN is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for a part-time role on the 2nd shift. You will support residents with daily living activities, provide emotional and physical care, and document changes as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a minimum age of 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR/BLS certification is a plus. We offer a supportive work environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
